Summary: It is reported that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) has donated 300,00 apple nursery plants to North Korea over the last 9 years. These trees are reportedly accounting 25 percent of North Korea¡¯s total apple harvest. A person in charge of LDS for Northern Asia commented that LDS has no donation plan for this year due to recent confrontations between North and South Korea.
