Summary: Leading hypermarket chains are planning special sales promotions on local Hanwoo beef targeting ¡®Hanwoo Day¡¯ which is November 1.  In particular, E Mart and Lotte Mart have announced aggressive pricing on the beef to be recognized as the lower price seller.

Seoul Dairy Corporation Enters Instant Coffee Mix Business [Korean, OSY]

Summary: Seoul Dairy Corporation, the leading fluid milk supplier in Korea, announced on October 29 that it had launched instant coffee mix business.  Currently the industry is led by Dongsuh Food (79.9% market share), Namyang Dairy (12%), and Nestle Korea (5.5%).
