Summary: Lotte Shopping Co., the leading retail company in Korea, announced on December 1 that its fifth outlet mall located in Paju city would start the business on December 2. The mall is built on 150,000 sq. meter space and offers 35,000 sq. meter of store space, which makes it the largest outlet shopping mall ever built in Korea. The mall houses a total of 213 stores, including many luxury brands such as Paul Smith and Prada.

Busan Gongdong Fishery Market Reports Over 400 Billion Won of Auction Sales through November [Korean, OSY]

Summary: Busan Gongdong Fishery Market, the largest auction market dedicated to locally caught sea fish, reported that the total auction sales through November has exceeded 400 billion won, up 26 percent from the same period last year. Total volume of fish auctioned in the market amounted to 175,000 tons. A manager of the market commented that increased sales to Japan had been a key reason for the high increase of auction sales value this year.
