¡®Premium New York Food¡¯ Comes to Seoul ¡¦ Dean & Deluca Has Opened Its First Outlet in Korea [Korean, OSY]

Summary: Dean & Deluca, a leading retailer for premium food in the U.S., has opened its first outlet in Seoul on Sept. 20 (official opening ceremony is scheduled on Sept. 22). Located in Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch, the outlet offers over 1,400 ¡°premium food products¡± gathered from around the world. The Korean outlet is the 6th outlet for Dean & Deluca worldwide. Shinsegae Department Store is the exclusive local partner of Dean & Deluca.

Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. to Develop 6,700 ha Size Farm in Far East Russia [Korean, OSY]

Summary: Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. announced on Sept 20 that it had established its second farming company in far east Russia that would cultivate some 6,700 ha of land in the region. The farm is planned to produce a total of 7,000 tons of various grains next year, including 4,000 tons of soybean and 2,000 tons of wheat. This is the second farm that Hyundai Heavy Industry has developed in far east Russia. Another farm that Hyundai acquired in 2009 in the region produced 7,800 tons of grains last year.
