Expected to Fall by Up to 10%
http://www.foodnews.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=106618
Summary: According to a report on the global grain market and domestic
and foreign feed industries, which is jointly published by the Ministry of
Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Institute for Animal Products
Quality Evaluation, domestic compound feed prices are expected to fall by 8-10%

Summary: Korea¡¯s imports of whiskey in 2023 exceeded 30,000 tons, a
record high, while imports of wine went down by over 20 percent continuing a
decline trend for two consecutive years. The fast-growing popularity of
the ¡®highball¡¯ drink has contributed to the surge of whiskey imports, and more
mid- and low-priced whiskeys are being introduced to the market compared to the
past. On a volume basis, imports of whiskey increased to 30,586 tons, a
13.1 percent year-on-year increase, but by value, the figure slightly decreased
to 259.57 million USD, 2.7 percent below the previous year. On the other
hand, imports of wine decreased to 56,542 tons, a 20.4 percent year-on-year
decrease, the biggest drop in its history. Demand for wine grew significantly
during the pandemic as home-drinking became a trend, but this has subsided as
people have been again able to enjoy outside activities.
