Korea¡¯s Exports of Agricultural Products Hit a Record High $7 Billion in 2011 [Korean, OSY]

Summary: According to the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery, and Food (MAFFF), Korea¡¯s total exports of agricultural products in 2011 amounted to a record high $7.3 billion, up 23.8 percent from the previous year.  Strong export growth to China and Japan, 49.8 percent and 22.5 percent respectively, led the overall export growth.   Japan was the top export market for Korea ($2.3 billion), followed by China ($1.2 billion) and ASEN countries ($1 billion).
