Summary:Godiva Korea launched two special gift sets targeting the upcoming local SATseason (the annual test is scheduled to take place on November 17). Godiva claimed that the special sets of premium quality chocolate should helpthe students stay focused during the test because cacao has the function tostimulate brain activity.


Starbucks Korea to Add More Stores in RegionalMarkets ... 30% of New Stores will be Drive-thru Stores [Korean, OSY]

Summary:Starbucks Korea currently has 950 stores in Korea as of November 2016, which is100 more than a year ago.  Accordingly, cash register sales of the companyis likely to increase about 25 percent in 2016 to 1 trillion won.  Newstrategy of the company is more drive-thru stores and expansion to regionalmarkets outside of the city of Seoul.  Among the 100 new stores added thisyear, 28 of them were drive-thru stores.  Starbucks Korea believes thatthe drive-thru store should help attract consumers from distant areas.
