Summary: Since mad cow disease case found in the U.S. on April, beef imports from the U.S. have significantly decreased. It turned out that we are now importing beef more from Austrailia than from the U.S. Also, import inventory stock has been accumulated and this will lead to decrease in imports in the near future.
